Instructions

1. Take out the red and green colors of Corduroy and Primary Brite Hue. The Corduroy will be used for the cover and the Brite Hue will be used for the inside pages.
2. To make the front cover, take one sheet of red Corduroy and cut a hole to show your cover photograph. Mark the opening on the back side of the red sheet 3-1/4" from the left size, 2-1/4" from the right side, and 2-1/2" from the top and bottom. This will create a 3-1/2"x5-1/2" opening. Cut along the lines with a sharp X-acto Knife.
3. Lay the red sheet with the opening one of the green Corduroy sheets, back sides together. Trace the opening onto the back side of the green Corduroy. Later, you will mount your cover photograph over the marked position. Set both sheets aside.
4. Cover the back side of the solid red Corduroy sheet with glue. Adhere the other green Corduroy sheet, back sides together, to the red Corduroy paper. This will be used for the back cover. Set aside.
5. Print your cover photo on a sheet of Adhesive Photo Paper and mount centered over the outline on the green Corduroy to be used for the front cover. This photograph will show through the opening in the red Corduroy.
6. Cover the back of the red Corduroy paper wwith the opening with glue and place over the back side of the green Corduroy, photograph showing through the opening. This will be the front cover.
7. On the front cover, measure in ½" from the left edge and 2-1/2" from the top and bottom. Make a small mark on the paper. Punch a hole where the marks are. These will be the binding holes.
8. Line up the punched front cover with all the other sheets to your book. Mark the binding holes and punch all the rest of the pages and the back cover just as you did for the front cover.
9. Measure in 1" along the left edge of the inside pages of your book (these are the red and gree Brite Hue sheets). Run a score line along the sheet to create a fold so that the pages can be easily viewed when the book is bound. The cover does not need a score.
10. Print out the rest of your photographs on the Adhesive Photo Paper and arrange on the inside pages. Alternate red and green pages to create interest. Once you have your photos arranged, peal off the backing and mount.
11. Now assemble your book. Lay the pages between the front and back cover. Weave green ribbon through the holes and tie to bind your book together.
