Artist Debi Jones
Debi Jones is the artist behind The Purple Table. What began as a large old wooden door was transformed into an artist desk by decoupaging various purple papers onto its surface. The Purple Table is literally the place where her creativity and imagination are unleashed to create unique handmade paper goods and gifts.
Inspired by nature, vintage, romance and whimsy, paper goods include hanging tags for gift packages or wedding wish trees, altered journals, and greeting cards for all occasions. Domino game pieces are upcycled into magnets and key chains to make unique small gifts. An obsessive collection of rubber stamps contributes to her ever changing designs.
Watercolors, acrylics, alcohol inks, chalks, and distress inks are some favorite materials. Experimenting with different techniques and with mixing materials in new ways contribute to her eclectic style. Her creative artwork is featured on our Strathmore® Stamping Cards.
